If you are currently on a 3-day free trial and choose to upgrade immediately to a higher-value plan (e.g., upgrading from Growth Trial to Advanced Trial) due to increased needs, your first payment will be calculated using a special deduction formula.
Free Trial Upgrade Deduction Formula
We use the following step-by-step model to calculate your final payment price:
Step 1: Calculate the Base Credit Amount (Value of the Old Plan)
In this special case, your free trial plan is assigned its corresponding Annual Original Price as the credit value.
Base Credit Amount = Old Plan (Trial) Annual Original Price
Step 2: Calculate the Upgrade Difference (Difference Based on Original Price)
Upgrade Difference = New Plan Annual Original Price - Base Credit Amount
Step 3: Apply Target Plan Discounts and Determine the Final Payment
The final payment is calculated by applying different discount rates to the "Upgrade Difference" and the "Base Credit Amount"
Final Payment = (Upgrade Difference * Target Plan Applicable Discount Rate) + (Base Credit Amount * Target Plan Specific Discount Factor)
